That gives you just enough time to roll up a couple of lightposts, trees, cars, or whatever else is right there handy to get over 4m62cm, and then you'll be able to grab the stunned Kintaro Bear. You can stun it, though, so wait for it to approach and then run into it, which will stop it for a second or two. At 4m60cm, you're too small to catch the Kintaro Bear, so it won't rocket away from you. There aren't any stray bears around here to accidentally run into, so it's a great place to catch the Kintaro Bear. ![]() Im sure you could get used to the keyboard controls after a few. Its a little weird doing it with a keyboard, Id strongly suggest getting a controller for this game for that reason. For example, you hold down W and U to go foward. Basically, you get up to around 4m60cm, and then wait along the roadside just above the gas station, where the road curves towards the tunnel. You hold down multiple buttons like you would with a controller, and you most likely will need to use both hands. They way I finally got it was the method shown in Method #1 of this video. ![]() The bear was too fast when it rocketed away, and even if I managed to dash, my katamari was far more likely to head off on an unexpected angle and run into some other bear thing and end the level than to get anywhere near the Kintaro Bear. Previous posters are correct you need to learn to use the gamepad the way KDR wants it to be used, not the way SPLINTER CELL, FAR CRY or 10,000 other games use it. ![]() I need it to catch up to Kintaro-Bear.I tried and tried to use the speed boost to catch the Kintaro Bear, but it just never worked. The KATAMARI franchise has had a unique and idiosyncratic control scheme since 2004, or longer. I wish there was just a 'Speed Dash' button, instead of trying to manipulate 2 joysticks at once.
