This year is especially sombre, as we remember Constables Matthew Arnold and Rachel McCrow of Tara Police Station, who both died on 12 December 2022 after being ambushed at Wiembilla, Queensland whilst on duty. This will have colored glass plates align with the ramp wall and then sweep up onto the structure of the tower. It'll also have and Angel Wall naming the relation to those who were lost and a Tower of Light. The public memorial will have a remembrance ring with 58 towers called candles in recognition of the candlelight vigils. ![]() JCJ Architecture says its mission is to "honor the 58 victims, support their families and survivors, and acknowledge all the emergency responders who assisted those in need on that fateful night." Last month, the Clark County Commission and the Memorial Committee approved the final design for the Forever One Las Vegas memorial. ![]() The county is making it a priority to never forget One October and the victims.
